Visa

You can get your visa at the Surinamese consulate or embassy in your country or at the Surinamese consulate in the Netherlands. When you’re older than 60 years and from Surinamese origin you can get your visa the moment you arrive at Johan Adolf Pengel airport(Zanderij), you must submit recent pass photo.

Valid driving licenses

If you want to drive a car in Surinam you will need a valid national and international driving licenses. If you cannot get a international drivers license in your country you can apply for it in Surinam at the police station New Harbor. You will have to submit your passport which indicates that you are legally in Surinam. You also have to pay SRD 150 at the central payment office or sub offices, after you have paid you will get a receipt with this receipt you can go to the police station to apply fore a international driving licenses.

International certificate of vaccination against yellow fever

If asked for you have to show this certificate so you can proof that you have been vaccinated against yellow fever.
