Document needed fore Remigration

  • Petition fore legal stay, addressed to the Minister of Justice and Police (duplicate)

  • Adhesive stamps SRD 1.50(Not a post stamp, you can buy the stamps at the post office)

  • Two recent good looking pas photo’s per person(no scan or computer printed photo)

  • Photo copy passport(valid fore at least six months) also fore co (r)emigrant

  • Copy birth certificate also fore co (r) emigrant

  • Marriage certificate*

  • Deposit receipt of USD. 200, or the equivalent amount in SRD, current daily rate of the Central Bank of Surinam. (original)

  • Housing: If you have your own accommodation then you will have to prove it by showing relevant documents

  • If you don’t have your own accommodation you have to present a guarantor who is responsible for your accommodation. Of the guarantor we need, a completed sponsorship form, extract from the population office and a copy of the ID card or passport

Cost fore applying to stay are US 200, deposit at the Agricultural Bank account number 5901191 addressed to the Ministry of Justice and Police. or they equivalent amount in SRD( current daily rate of the Central Bank of Surinam). This deposit can be made at the head office of the ministry of Justice and Police, financial department.
