Surinam is a beautifull country but the Surinam government is not making it any easier for the (r)emigrant to choose for Switi Sranan (sweet Surinam) as the country where they want to spend their retirement or start a new live. But when you decided to go to Surinam you will experience the peace and beauty of the rainforest and the typical south American way of live.
2003 We emigrate from the Netherlands to Surinam to get the necessary information we contacted the Surinam embassy and consulate in the Netherlands. We were totally surprised to find out that they could not provide us with any information regarding (r)emigration. They told us that we had to go to Surinam to get the it. This is the one of the reason we started this website and hopefully by sharing this information with you it will save you some time.
Most of the information about (r)emigration is fore (r)emigrate who are comming from the Netherlands. When you (r)emigrate from a other country to Surinam please contact your local Suriname consulate or ambasy.
